Is this not the cutest face ever! I just love her chubby little cheeks and I can't stop kissing them. Todd and I just adore baby Maya! She is getting so big and starting to look more like Brooke. (my sis) Love them!
This last weekend we were finally able to get out and do a little campin/scouting. It was so relaxing and fun! I could just live outdoors if I had access to a shower. It is absolutely beautiful out there right now too thanks to all the rain we recieved.
It actually rained on us that night so we just sat and chatted in the tent and told stories. Luckily it waited till we were finished roasting our weiners and smores. Sometimes those are the best nights though.
These two newlyweds are just about the cutest people on the face of the planet. They are so much fun to be with and we think the world of them. We have been friends with them for so long and still can't get enough of them.
Well when you are in the woods, beware of people sitting in trees watching your every move withouth you knowing it. If you are unfamiliar with the world of archery hunting, these next two pictures are of Todd setting up his tree stand. Yes. . . this is where my husband is going to be at four in the morning during the hunt, for several hours. I wouldn't have the patience to last one hour sitting in this thing. I just hope he doesn't fall out.
It was crackin me up so I had to go back to camp and get the camera. Just to see some guy just chillin in a tree. I find that very humorous. Well last year, Todd was sittin in his tree stand and a fellow hunter was unaware that he was there. To Todd's dismay, this hunter stopped and took a squat (going #2 that is) just a few trees away from Todd. He made a little noise to let the guy know he was there but it wasn't enough to distract the dude from taking care of buisiness. Needless to say, he came home deerless last year. He is hoping to redeem himself this year.

That is the coolest blow up couch thing. I love it, Ive never seen anything like that. Speaking of never seeing anything like that...how does that chair on the tree work? That is amazing. I kind of felt like you could get him a creepy mask and he could look like the Cannibal on Silence of the Lambs :)

Haha I didn't read that about that dude going #2 yet...that's funny! I can't wait to see Dust sitting in his tree stand...poor boys...it looks so uncomfortable and boring but they somehow put up with it for the hunt! : )
