Drive In- Cash Only

If you haven't been to the Drive in theater in the last decade like us. . you should totally go! Last Thursday we saw Up and The Proposal. I had a dream two nights after seeing Up, that my sister Brooke and I had to parachute out of a plane- and we were using balloons just like the movie. It was quite the adventurous dream. It was a pretty cute movie, but I found myself looking around at the other movies playing quite often. The Proposal was better than I expected though. There were some pretty funny parts.

We love snuggling with Dust and Lauren! Well we were unaware that the Drive In accepts cash only. Luckily Dust had enough to spot us. Who does that these days? Even at the snack shop! No credit/debit card machines.
I love Todds big flip flops in this picture.

Well there are a few precautions you must take upon entering the Drive In. One- Be careful when jumping into the bed of your truck that your shin does not smack into it. . . or your leg may end up looking like Dustin's did. He took it like a champ though! It wasn't until about a half hour later that he discovered the humongous protruding bump he had. Two- Keep your distance from vans with curtains in them and miscellaneous individuals going in and out of them all night. Three- watch out for cars a-rockin and Four- bring mosquito repellent! I got the weirdest mosquito bite on the bottom of my foot of all places, and I felt like I was walking on a golf ball for a few days after. We had a ton of fun though and it is so nice to lounge around and be outside watching movies! And snuggling up with Dust and Laurs- what could be better!

That looks like so much fun! That is on my list of things to do this summer-Drive in.
Laurs was telling me about that horrible shin accident. That looks like it kills!
You should come garage selling with us in a couple weeks. It was a total blast. Do come!

Ahhh the drive ins. So many memories. That's where Aaron and I had a first like 100 dates. Every Tuesday night was like half off or something, a bunch of us would go and cram in a little truck. Such fun times, glad you guys had a good time too! What am I saying there's never a bad time with you guys!

Aww, we love the drive in!!! Living in a small town, that is the thing to do, so we would go quite a bit and let our kids fall asleep. It is super fun. Sounds like you guys had a ball!

That sounds like so much fun! I don't think I've been to a drive in movie since I was a kid!
