Memorial Weekend

We had a really fun and relaxing memorial weekend in Colorado. Todd's sister asked him to baptize his nephew Ben on saturday, and he was really excited to do it! We drove down early Saturday morning, and arrived around noon. It was really fun to visit with his sister, brother in law and their darling four kiddos. What a cute family they are and what an awesome opportunity it was for us to be a part of Ben's big day.
I'm not sure who was more excited- Ben or Todd
Ben is such a cute little guy! They looked so cute in their whites and I was so proud of both of them. Ben's little brother (4 yrs old) kept poking Todd during the talks before the baptism. He kept saying, "I like to feel your crazy suit Todd." What would we do without cute little kids who make ya laugh when you are supposed to be serious huh?

It was an awesome day, and Todds sister made a giant turkey dinner after which just topped everything off! I'm so grateful to be where we are right now in life. We haven't always been the most spiritual people, but I got such a great feeling when I saw Todd walk down there in the water and be able to be worthy of baptizing Ben. I'm so grateful to be a member of the church and have the knowledge and comfort that we do. It makes me want to be a much better person! I hope you all had an awesome memorial day weekend!
