Weddin and Blessin

Warning. . . . Long post ahead! It's kind of sad when really fun weekends come to an end. Well I put these pictures in the wrong order and I am far too lazy to start over so here we go. On sunday, my cute little niece Maya was blessed by my dad. It was a really special day and a ton of fun to get the fam together! We also celebrated my nephews birthday that day.

Yes of course the boys had to play some football! As you can imagine. . Todd was really lovin it!
We had a piniata for Quin's birthday which he absolutely loved. He wouldn't give that stick up.

And by the end of Maya's big day. . . she was exhausted!

Saturday was a blast! For those of you who know Kerry and Sarah. . . They are finally married! We had such a great time! They were married in the Draper temple, and of course Em and I were balling our eyes out! I was so excited for them! They are seriously such an awesome couple and I love them so much!

Yeah!!!! They did it!

Here's the gang as we were waiting for them to finish with family pictures.

Todd and Kerry have been best little buddies for a really long time. Their personalities just fit together so well and I couldn't ask for a better friend for Todd. Kerry is a heck of a guy!

They had a ring ceremony right before the reception so Sarah's dad could be a part of their big day and it turned out so nice! She looked absolutely beautiful and they were both so happy and ready to be married. Kerry is a lucky guy to have someone as amazing as Sarah. Todd was Kerry's best man and he looked so hansome!

Of course the boys got Kerry's truck pretty good. This was my favorite part of the mess of course, and the most appropriate picture I had. They put these smeared undies (chocolate that is.) on the headrests so they could be extra comfortable riding to the hotel.
I just have to tell one funny story about the purchase of these sexy undies! So we were out shopping for the goods to do this kind of damage, and we made our final decisions and headed to check out. Well I won't mention any names, but Dustin was buying these scandlist panties when they wouldn't scan. The store was pretty crowded and the checker had to hold them up and ask another checker about the price of them. Todd and I were waiting for them by the door and we were dying of the accomplished embarassment of our dear friends.
The checker was even a little embarrassed sensing that he embarrassed them, so he apoligized to Lauren for having to hold them up like that thinking they were for her.
Both of their faces were bright red and I went to bed that night laughing at it.
What a fun day!

Oh my heck-I love ya friend! You are so pretty in those pictures...and I need to know your secret...how did your hair stay in place and not flap in the wind like mine? ; ) I keep laughing about that underwear too...the bra wouldn't scan either...then the other cashier has to point out how red my face was. I was dying. Come on sister...couldn't she see they weren't quite my size? ; ) Ha ha

Kinda funny that the cashier had to ask the price since we were in the dollar store...

That is so funny. Reminds me of when Kennedi was born. Mike had to go to the store to get me some feminine products. Well he got to the checkout and realized he had gotten everything but them. Since all the other stuff was on the belt the cashier told Mike to just run get them and she would wait. Since there was no one else in line he went. He was way stressed trying to find the right ones and trying to hurry too. Well, he picked some out goes back to the aisle and there is like 4 people waiting in line. The cashier had told them all that his wife had just had a baby and he was doing the shopping so as he makes his way past everyone (holding the maxi pads) they all kept saying congratulations. He was so embarrassed. I was just laughing picturing him. I have since learned to stock up before the baby comes in order to save him any more moments like that.
