So I have been doing clinicals at the VA on the psych unit and it has been nothing less than entertaining! I have so much respect for veterans and what they have done for our Country. But have you ever had a 68 year old veteran on the psych unit offer to come see you when they get out? Well just to make you all jealous. . . I have.
He asked me where I would be now that I'm done with my rotation there and I said, oh just at Primary Childrens now. He then told me he would like to come start seeing me and that his wife might not like it but oh well. (Followed by a wink) Creepy! I just got the willy's just thinking about it and the look on his face. No thanks Grandpa! I'll have to pass! Needless to say, I told him I was married and very young and that that wasn't appropriate. He should focus on himself right now and getting better. Working in health care, you encounter quite a few awkward moments that you just have to laugh about. Don't get too jealous everyone.

Thats so funny!! I can't say that has ever happened to me. Todd is lucky man!
lol- I can't resist you either!!
Oh my gosh! What a funny story! I haven't had that happen, but I did have an old man in my mission call our apartment repeatedly trying to talk to me. We requested caller ID and thankful it was granted!
