Jeanette, RN (similar to Greg, RN off of Meet the Parents)

Watch out People. . . it's official. I am a registered nurse. All the money, time, work, sacrifices and nights of studying are finally over. As I have told many of you, I was supposed to take my nursing boards on June 5th. I was studying like crazy and of course nothing ever goes as planned and our sweet little baby boy surprised us on June 3rd instead of the 15th. I resheduled my test for the 24th of June and was so nervous to take it because I didn't study hardly at all once I had Dylan. . .Luckily I must have learned something in school and was able to pass and have that off my chest. This is the first time in about 5 years that I haven't been doing something with school and let me tell you how awesome it is! Almost as awesome as Leatherby's bananna split.
I have been able to just relax and enjoy our sweet baby boy and the three of us have been able to spend a lot of time together. Here are a few other things we have been up to.
We got to see Mandi and her absolutely darling little girl Kennedy! She and Dylan are already little buddies. . He kept telling me how much he liked Kennedy.

Some cute pics of Dylan at home. We are having so much fun with him and he has been such a good little guy!
He is starting to really like his baths!
Of course his dad is already talkin football with him and showing him his rattle everyday.

Although he does look rather cute in his baseball uniform too.

And the thing that makes me happiest in this world. . . He is starting to smile!!!! Oh dear I can't get enough of this little fella. These smiles kill me and I probably look like the biggest idiot getting him to smile, but it is worth it without question.

Getting burped. . .

We had a fun 4th of July as well! We had to watch my little brother Shane for the weekend. . .so we had some family and friends over at my parents house for a little BBQ and some fireworks. It was actually the 3rd, so we got to celebrate cute Loraine. . I mean Laurens birthday! She is just about as cute as they come, so much fun and I just love her so much! Happy Happy quarter of a century Birthday Laurs!!

Fireworks!
We found these bums on the street and invited them.

The Dahles!

The Guys (minus sneaky Aaron who quietly weasled his way out)
And our first family holiday picture

LOVE this boy SOOO much!

Congrats on your RN! You will be the best nurse. Dylan is so cute! I love his smile, and I see that he loves his big green binki, just like Rhett! :)
You look AMAZING for just having a baby girl! You need to share your secret :)

It was so fun seeing you the other day, and FINALLY seeing Dyland.
Hey, I found a coupon the other day to Leatherbys and instantly thought of you. Do you wanna go grab some ice cream and I can maybe hold the lil guy?!
