Well this day has finally arrived! I went to bed at eleven and woke up at two this morning. . I don't know if I was just too excited or what was causing my insomnia! But surprise.....................
ITS A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are stoked! We would have been happy with either, but I know deep down Todd was a little excited to have a football and huntin buddy! Everything seemed to be normal on the ultrasound which gave me some relief as well. It is just so fun to call our baby him instead of it now. We are so blessed and fortunate to have this baby coming to our home! Well I've gotta go now, cause Todd is just about done with school and we are headed to buy a new outfit to bring him home in.
I will need all the advice I can get from you ladies that have kiddos. . . sleeping tips, nursing tips. . anything! And I will try and post some pics later when I have a little more time.

- Todd and I were high school sweethearts and have now been married for almost 6 years! We have the sweetest baby boy Dylan who is our world! He is 9 months old, into everything, and brings more joy to us then we could've imagined. Todd has a year left of Physical Therapy school which we are so excited about. We love being outdoors and just being together with family and friends!

The best thing I reccommend is to read the book Baby Wise and start now before your little guy gets here. It is the greatest book! It will teach you how to make your baby a great sleeper!!
I still am so excited for you! My best advice is live and love every moment of it- They grow up way too fast...live in the moment and take it all in- even being pregnant- life is way too short to not enjoy it all!!.. you will find your own way of doing things that will work for you- you will get so much advice some you want to hear and some you don't- I have a feeling you should have nothing to worry about though, that little guy is one of the luckiest dudes because he will be blessed with parents like you and Todd! You two will honestly make such amazing parents! We love you and your little kiddo!

Congrats!! I am so excited for you guys!!! He will be SOO darling! As for advice, I think your friend Emily put it really well. You'll get a lot of advice, take what you want and leave the rest, because every baby is so different! However, as far as nursing goes, it's more difficult than you probably think, but it's amazing. The first few months are painful, but it gets better. Last but not least...don't stress. Being a parent is a learning process, but that little baby will bring more love into your heart than you even realize is possible, just try to enjoy it:) You're amazing and I have no doubt that being a mother will come naturally to you!
