Nursing School

Although I do complain about school and how much work it is. . . I really do love it! I feel very fortunate and blessed considering that majority of the world would not even think about having this opportunity. This last month I have especially been thinking about how blessed I am. . . and I am pretty dang blessed. I have had so many fun times, embarassing moments and hard days at clinicals this last year and a half. I have met some really awesome people that I will really miss when we graduate!
This is us girls on our way up to Park City to party hard for Kylee's bridal shower! It was so much fun to kick back and be crazy.

This picture is after a long day at clinicals at the U of U hospital. We would gather after our shifts and have a post conference and chat about our days, what we did, our embarassing stories and anything else in between. I had a really tough clinical instructor who scared the heck out of me. . but it really pushed me to learn.
This next picture. . I have no idea who took it. I saw it on facebook and copied it over to my files. It was first semester when we were learning to start IV's. That semester was so fun, everyone was so lost and we really had some good laughs.

Just thought I would recap a little on my adventures through nursing school. Hopefully in May, I will have some pictures of graduation! (Probably waddling down the stage with a huge prego belly.) When I think back, it seems like I have been in school forever, but each semester seems to fly by. Hope I didn't bore you too much with my school jazz!

I was at the doctor the other day and the dang nurse had to stick me 3 times to draw my blood! And the last time I had to remind her to tie my arm off and clean it with alcohol. Needless to say I did have a few bruises afterwards. She should have gone to school at the U, probably would have learned a lot more! I'm know you will be a great nurse though! I could never do it, glad there are people like you! Way to stick with it and finish you're almost there!!!

I am so proud of you!! I think back to those times back when you lived in Bluffdale and we would hang out all the time.. and then you guys took your big step to move up to Logan to start this crazy school journey! And look at you now- almost done with school and a sweet spirit growing inside of you! Its crazy how fast life cruises by us!
