What have we been up to lately you ask? School school school school school. . . .did I mention School? It is true that it has taken over our lives now. This semester is crazy busy! It's been fun so far- but way too much busy work and paperwork! We managed to sneak in a few fun things though like. . .
We live soo close and have lived here for a year. . and finally made it up to Ensign Peak. Beautiful View of the valley!!! (And no Todd is not growing. . he's standing on a little rock)
And some exciting news. . . (Don't look Chels!) Todd got his first deer on the archery hunt! He was seriously soooo excited! I think he was more excited than on our wedding day. He's been patiently waiting this day for a few years now and it has finally come. Thanks to Dustin for helping him take care of business and pack that thing out of the mountains! So here are a couple pics. . .Todd looking sexy in his camoflouge! (sorry little deer)
And I thought I would leave you with this delightful image... This is Todd taking the head out of our 4 runner (Eww) to have the antlers mounted. You think looking at it is bad. . you should have smelled that thing!!! So I told him I was a pretty good wife to ride with him with that head staring at us in the car.

Good job Todd!!! That's a nice buck! Don't worry Jeanette, Chels will survive seeing the dead deer :) She has seen plenty of my pictures! We need to get everyone together soon!

I don't understand the thrill of hunting, so while I swallow the vomit in my mouth, I sincerely mean it when I say, congratulations on the kill! Ha, ha, ha. I am thankful for OTHER people who hunt though because I thoroughly enjoy eating meat. I like the tongue out of the animal, it's almost like he didn't mind being killed, like he was posing for the picture. :)
You are so funny, it would have been kinda freaky having that thing staring at ya. Yay for Todd! I bet he was so so excited! Glad everything else is going well!
That is a good lookin deer Todd got. My hubby would be jealous! Glad to see you guys are doing so well, busy with school, but doing good. You guys are so cute!
