Thanksgiving Fun

Well life has been pretty crazy and I haven't updated in a while, except the whole going private thing which took me like three weeks just to do that. I can't even believe that November has come and gone. I absolutely love this time of year! Todd's birthday was November 12th which unfortunately fell on a wednesday this month. We both had school and work, but I took the night off of work which is a bit tough to do since its just little ol me in the gift shop, so he was pretty surprised and excited about that. We went to Olive Garden for dinner, opened presents and had Ben and Teea over for shakes and cheesecake (Todds not much of a cake lover). Whoo hoo! He got a Cabelas gift card since I don't dare pick out hunting stuff, a shirt, a utes mug full of candy and The Office Season Four. Needless to say, we have been watching it any spare minute we get.
Thanksgiving was a blast this year! We had four parties to go to, and usually we are running from family to family, but this year it worked out perfectly. We had my grandma's party at noon on Thanksgiving, then my mom still cooked a turkey and some grub that night which was awesome. The next day we headed out to Todd's brother and sister in laws house for his side of the family party which was lots of fun as well. Lastly, we headed to Santaquin on saturday for Todd's extended family Thanksgiving/Christmas party. So after four Thanksgiving dinners- I am probably ten pounds heavier, but still ready for more food.
This is Todd's brothers wife Karin and our oldest niece Angie who I just love to pieces.

On Thanksgiving, we have the tradition of making gingerbread houses. Well football was on so Todd lasted about ten minutes and then he was done frosting. So he sat behind me just give me prompts and tell me is was looking good. This is Todd and my sister Autumn, hopefully she sees this picture cause she is looking a little bashful. She likes to snuggle up to Todd sometimes.

After Todd was finished helping, my cute little nephew Nolan stepped in and decorated. He is so dang cute and cracks me up. I love the minds of four year olds! They are so imaginative and their questions are so funny. It is such a fun age!

Here's my sisters and nephews decorating their houses. How about those pre made kits huh! What happened to the old milk cartons from school and the crumbled mess of graham crackers?

Getting started! What would we do without moms taking charge and organizing everything!

Here is our finished product! It is really fitting because it is about the same size as our real apartment. Thanksgiving was so much fun and we have soooooooo much to be Thankful for. This year I reflected a lot on how grateful I am for such an amazing family! I seriously don't know what I would do without them. They are so supportive and genuine and I just love them so much. I am so grateful especially for my sisters, I have four sisters and could turn to any one of them for anything! Although I complain about school a lot, ok a really lot, I am so blessed to be going! There are so many people in the world who do not even have the opportunity to go to grade school. I am so blessed and fortunate to be learning and to somehow come up with the money-even if it is loans-to continue. I could go on and on about things I am grateful for! I love Thanksgiving and am so excited with Christmas approaching! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and were able to spend time with your families!

I love thanksgiving time too! Don't worry about eating too much food, cause everyone was making fun of me at my table for how big a plate full of food I had! But I had one cousin who was sticking up for me, who knew I could pack it down. It made me think of you and how you would be cheering me on and not discouraging me! Love ya!
